Denmark has taken a dramatic step by suspending high-level diplomatic engagement with the United States, following growing tensions over Greenland.
The dispute intensified after former President Donald Trump renewed public interest in acquiring the Arctic territory, a move strongly rejected by Danish leaders and NATO partners.
In response, large demonstrations erupted in Copenhagen, where protesters were seen chanting “Hands off Greenland.”
The situation has raised concerns across Europe, with analysts warning that the disagreement could place additional strain on long-standing NATO unity and transatlantic relations.
